hi there in this video Im gonna show you how to create a noise texture directly within InDesign first create a text box or a frame and fill it with your desired color then go up to object effects in agloe if you have your preview selected youll see a thin and a glow around the perimeter of your text box with inner glow selected change your source from edge to center then to get rid of this darkening around the edge here change of size to zero you can add some noise using the slider here and you can add in as much as you want you can reduce the severity of the texture using your opacity over here and the blending mode as well as the color you use to add your noise will make a big difference to the server all effect so if I change my swatch to a darker color and change the mode to multiply youll see the effect is totally different so you can play with these settings until you find something you like but thats how you add a texture to InDesign
