all right good morning ladies and gentlemen this is a quick video that I wanted to create to help some of you whove asked about when to choose to take program prerequisites um if youre going to retake them so this is a major question it plays a big factor in your timeline so wanted to make this video and show you okay so lets say Im taking physics 1 or I took physics one in the spring of 2023 and I got a C+ all my other prxs are pretty solid Ive got As or Bs its the only real scuff I have on my uh prere GPA and Im wanting to retake that class PTC opens on June 15th of this year and my program deadline is October 1st of 2024 this program does not participate in Rolling admissions its just get your application in before this date now I am wanting to retake this physics class but I think Im just going to retake it in the fall of 2024 so if I retake this physics 1 class and my grade posts in December my retake grade may not be factored into my application because if a programs

Although all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands enjoy a form of direct access to physical therapist services, provisions and limitations vary among jurisdictions.
Direct access means the removal of the physician referral mandated by state law to access physical therapist services for evaluation and treatment. Every state, the District of Columbia, and the US Virgin Islands allow for evaluation and some form of treatment without physician referral.
Physical therapists shall not engage in any sexual relationship with any of their patient/clients, supervisees or students.
A physical therapist with three years of experience may treat a patient without a referral for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first, and must have the patient complete a Notice of Advice form. After this, the patient must be referred to a referring practitioner for evaluation.
New York allows direct patient access to a physical therapist with some provisions. A physical therapist can treat direct access patients when: A licensed PT treats a patient for no more than ten visits or 30 days, whichever comes first.
California pays physical therapists the most with an average salary of $114,230. Arizona has the highest projected growth for physical therapist jobs: 52% by 2030. The metropolitan area with the highest concentration of physical therapists is Bloomsburg-Berwick, PA, with 3.52 physical therapists per 1,000 jobs.
New York State allows Direct Access to Physical Therapy Treatments. It means that you are legally permitted to see a Physical Therapist for evaluation and treatment without a physicians referral (prescription). In New York, treatment can be rendered for up to 10 visits or 30 calendar days, whichever comes first.
