okay so in this video lets try to answer a very frequently Asked SQL interview problem that is you are given two different tables with some data and you are asked to find the number of records that will be returned by using different type of joints on these two tables that is inner join left join right join and full outer join now the tricky part is that the data that is present in these two tables is having some duplicate values it might have some null values Etc and also you are not allowed to query the data you just need to look at these two table data and figure out the number of records that will be returned when you do these type of joints now in order to correctly answer this particular question you need to completely understand how internally SQL does different type of joints and that is exactly what I will be explaining in this video and Im going to explain that by taking up two different data sets so lets start with scenario one as you can see I have been given two differe

WHERE can be used to to create a join between tables without using the keyword JOIN , but it can only be used for inner joins. ON is used with JOIN in a join condition to identify which columns is each table to link and can be used with all types of joins.
An outer join can also include a WHERE clause.
To use the WHERE clause to perform the same join as you perform using the INNER JOIN syntax, enter both the join condition and the additional selection condition in the WHERE clause. The tables to be joined are listed in the FROM clause, separated by commas. This query returns the same output as the previous example.
The plus sign is Oracle syntax for an outer join. There isnt a minus operator for joins. An outer join means return all rows from one table. Also return the rows from the outer joined where theres a match on the join key. If theres no matching row, return null.
Four types of joins: left, right, inner, and outer. In general, youll only really need to use inner joins and left outer joins.
SQL LEFT JOIN Syntax of LEFT JOIN. The syntax of LEFT JOIN is: SELECT columns FROM table1 LEFT JOIN table2 ON table1.columnname = table2.columnname; LEFT JOIN With WHERE Clause. The SQL command can have an optional WHERE clause with the LEFT JOIN statement. SQL LEFT JOIN With AS Alias.
The join command reads the files specified by the File1 and File2 parameters, joins lines in the files ing to the flags, and writes the results to standard output. The File1 and File2 parameters must be text files.
You join two tables by creating a relationship in the WHERE clause between at least one column from one table and at least one column from another. The join creates a temporary composite table where each pair of rows (one from each table) that satisfies the join condition is linked to form a single row.
