When you perform a full check on the document associated with this video, you will see that it fails the Figures Alternate text check. In the scan results panel, expand the Figures alternate text ion, and highlight a figure in the list. This document has three images that need either a text alternative, or to be marked as an artifact. Open the context menu and select Fix. The first image is a pie chart. We can give it a text alternative that says, Northwind/Contoso Customer Loyalty Pie Chart: 80% are returning customers, 20% are one-time customers. After you write a text alternative, select the right arrow in the dialog. This will move your focus to the next image in need of a text alternative. Some figures, such as charts or infographics, may be too complex to be summarized briefly. In these cases, you can provide an external link to a page that describes the content in the figure more thoroughly. In this document, the second image is an infographic called Roadmap for Operational

There is no simple way of locating (i.e., searching for) italicized text in a PDF file. Unlike an editable document (such as a Word document), PDF doesnt have attributes such as italic, bold, etc. associated with text.
Text Annotation Shortcuts ActionWindows / LinuxMac Bold Ctrl + B ⌘ + B Italic Ctrl + I ⌘ + I Underline Ctrl + U ⌘ + U Increase Font Size Ctrl + Shift + ⌘ + Shift + 4 more rows
Using docHub Reader, open the PDF file and select Properties by pressing Ctrl+D or clicking on File. Right-click anywhere within the PDF document to select the Properties option. In the Fonts tab of this PDF file, you can find a list of all the fonts included.
To make a word italic, select the word in the form and select control (cntl) -I on your keyboard. (Mac: Command or apple-I). To make a word underlined, select the word in the form and select control (cntl) -U on your keyboard.
You can create a new Check (in the Preflight panel) using the Font is Italic property. Beware: when you Add the property to define the check itself, the default setting is is not true, which is the opposite what were looking for. You have to set it to is true to be able to find italicised text.
The bottom of the Find/Change dialog box gives you the option to find/change formatting. You can search for all italics, or as in my screen shot, all italics within a specific paragraph tag and assign a character tag.
1) To start the search to find text that is in italics. Either a) Choose Home, then use the Find drop-down menu and choose Advanced find. Or b) Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl -F (hold the Ctrl key and the f key down at the same time) and the Navigation option will appear.
In the Text tab of the Adjust panel, do any of the following: Choose a style from the Font Style menu. Click one or more of the font style icons: Bold, Italic, Underline. note: If the typeface doesnt include bold or italic versions, their font style icons appear dimmed.
