And Im not just going to show you different ways to add a watermark to your presentation. Im also going to show you a few troubleshooting tips to make sure that they appear properly when and how you want them. And the first thing that you need to do before you even think about putting a stamp in your presentation is you need to ask yourself a couple key questions. And the first question you want to always ask yourself is, do I want this stamp to appear on every single slide in my presentation or just on one or a few? That will determine where exactly you place it. And the second question you want to ask yourself is, do I want to be able to edit the stamp down the road, make changes to it without having to start all over from scratch? Choose Editor on the toolbar - Watermark - Add Watermark to set Text or Image watermark.
Watermarks can be placed on photos with a copyright notice and the name of the photographer, often in the form of white or translucent text. A watermark serves the purpose of informing a potential infringer that you own the copyright to your work and intend to enforce it, which may discourage infringement.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. If you dont see the watermark, click View Print Layout.
Generally, a watermark should: Large, colored watermarks, detract from the image as they can compete with the subject too much. Be placed in a descreet area of the image that does not interfere with the view of the image, but will make it more difficult to remove or clone out. Have limited text.
Watermarks should be visible enough to provide adequate protection against image theft, but if theyre too prominent theyll obscure too much of the image for it to be appreciated at all. Here, prominence is determined through a combination of frame coverage, opacity and style.
The bottom right corner is the usual position for placing a watermark. A watermark is noticeable in the corner, but it does not detract docHubly from a photograph. Any corner works, but most photographers decide on the right bottom.
Watermarks can be used to protect confidential information and to indicate the validity of a legal document. Youll also watermarks any paper banknote, where theyre used to help prevent counterfeiting.
The most common position of a watermark is in the bottom right corner. This way it doesnt take away the attention from your image. However, if you position your watermark in any of four corners, it makes it easier for thieves to crop it out. Watermarks are secure only if you use them properly.
