In this tutorial, the presenter explains how to insert a checkbox in Microsoft Word. First, you need to enable Developer Mode by going to File, then Options, and selecting Customize Ribbon. Check the Developer option and click OK. Once Developer Mode is enabled, click on the Developer tab to find and insert a checkbox. To customize the checkbox with a different check mark or symbol, select the checkbox, go to Developer Properties, and change the checked symbol to your desired option, such as a sad face. After making changes, clicking the checkbox will reflect your selected symbol.
