good everyone i hope you guys have an amazing day so today what im going to do i will show you how to add a field uh to the code line editor um and yeah so so let me let me start with the requirement right so lets say i have a code right so this is the code so um so i go to my code now and i im as a customer right im just telling as a customer im just im going to my code and im just saying okay im going to code line editor oh sorry not the code liner lets say im going to do edit lines okay and so and i want to add a product so i will add any product right it doesnt matter so im just going to add this product um okay so ill just say save okay now the requirement is right i wanted to see a list price here right i can see the start date end date subscription term edition discount thats great but i would love to see the list price here and also i would like to see more of fields in the product uh in this uh code line right right now i see the the product code uh product name

How to Create a Quote in Salesforce Open the Opportunity you want to quote. Click New Quote in the Quotes list. Enter a name for the quote. Enter an expiration date for how long the quote will be valid. Select a status for the quote. Select the contact you want to send the quote to. Click Save.
Required Editions Go to the quote term where you want to add a display condition. In the Use Conditions related list, click New Term Conditions. Use the term condition fields to create a logical condition. Salesforce CPQ evaluates this condition whenever it generates a quote document that references this quote term.
Add Fields to the Quote Line Editor Field Set From Setup, enter Objects , and then click Objects. Click Quote Line. From the Field Sets related list, find Line Editor, and then click Edit. Add or remove fields from the field set.
The Required By field on the Quote Line is a Lookup field that provides the Quote Line of the parent product for any Quote Lines representing Product Options. This field is not populated until a Save action writes to the database, creating Quote Line records associated to the Quote.
To find out which fields are required, go to the Go to menu at the top right of the connector of the connector and click Salesforce Object Reference. The required field rows will say Required in the far right column.
Click on the gear icon then Setup Object Manager. Choose the object Fields Relationships. Select the custom field that you will make required. Click on Edit and under General Options select Required. Click on Save.
Steps to edit the Quote Line Object for Fields: Log in to Salesforce CPQ SetUp In the quick find search for Objects Find the Quote Line Object Click on the Field Sets Click on Line Editor edit Make the required changes Save.
Adding Fields to Quote Line Drawer: Go to Object Manager. Go to Quote Line Object. Click on Field Sets. Open Standard Line Item Drawer field set.
