Binary insertion sort employs a binary search to determine the correct location to insert new elements, and therefore performs log2 n comparisons in the worst case. When each element in the array is searched for and inserted this is O(n log n).

Whenever you see this message string or binary data would be truncated that means the field is NOT big enough to hold your data. For example, if the column data type is varchar(20) , and you try to put 50 characters in to it, you will get this error. Check the table structure.
The error message youre receiving indicates that the value youre trying to insert or update is too long for the column its being inserted into.
