Responding to review feedback. You will receive feedback on your pull request. Respond to the feedback by making changes in your working copy, committing them, and pushing them to GitHub when the tests pass locally. As soon as you receive feedback, you can start working on it.
To comment directly on a file, to the right of the file, click and type your comment. When youre done, click Start a review. If you have already started a review, you can click Add review comment.
Adding comments to a pull request Under your repository name, click Pull requests. In the list of pull requests, click the pull request where youd like to leave line comments. On the pull request, click Files changed. Hover over the line of code where youd like to add a comment, and click the blue comment icon.
Insert a comment Select the text you want to comment on, or click at the end of the text. On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
If you intend to just leave one comment then you would add single comment, but otherwise you could start a review. This would save all your comments and them add them to the PR all at once, which reduces the number of notifications and events listed in the PR.
To add a comment at each level: Pull request Under Comments on the pull request, click in the Add a comment text field. Add your comment and click Save. File - Click the More options button in the upper-right corner of the file click Add comment.
Click the issue to open the Issue Details screen. Commits - The list of commits to this pull request. Click the commit to open it with Bitbucket in your browser. Comment - Type a comment and click Save to add a comment to the pull request.
To leave a comment referencing multiple lines, you can either: click on a line number in the diff view, hold Shift, click on a second line number and click the + button next to the second line number; or. click and hold to the right of a line number, drag and then release the mouse when youve docHubed the desired line.
