To begin, open your Excel sheet and enable the Developer option if it's not already visible by right-clicking in the toolbar, selecting "Customize the Ribbon," and checking the Developer box. Once the Developer option is available, click on "Insert" and choose the checkbox to draw it on the sheet. After inserting, right-click the checkbox to edit the text and delete it, leaving just the checkbox itself. Now, clicking on the checkbox will toggle its state, making it functional.
