What characters can a domain name contain? A domain name can only contain the letters A-Z, the digits 0-9 and hyphen (-), in addition to one punctuation (.) used for grouping the domains in hierarchies, e.g. under . no or .com.
Do not use homophones. Homophones are words that have the same pronunciation as other words, but have different meaning and spelling. A couple of examples are right/write and break/brake. Unless it is very clear what your domain name should be, such words are likely to confuse your site visitors.
