In the Paragraph Styles menu, move the pointer over the name of the style you want to delete, then click the arrow that appears and choose Delete Style.
Select the words you want to format. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button. In the Font section, click the pop-up menu next to Character Styles, then choose a style.
Apply a paragraph style in Pages on Mac Select one or more paragraphs, or click anywhere in a paragraph to apply the style to only that paragraph. In the Format sidebar, click the Text tab, click the paragraph style name near the top of the sidebar, then choose a style from the Paragraph Styles pop-up menu.

Apply styles Select the text you want to format. Tip: If you place your cursor in a paragraph, the style is applied to the whole paragraph. On the Home tab, point to a style to preview it. Select a style.
Add a new shape and begin typing, or click an existing shape to select it, then type. If a clipping indicator appears, which signifies theres too much text to display in the shape, click the shape and drag any white square until all the text is showing.
