hello in this video Iamp;#39;m going to be looking at quite a classic algorithm line-of-sight also known as shadow casting and as usual Iamp;#39;m going to start by showing you what it is that Iamp;#39;m talking about so here I have an arena where there is a boundary defined in blue and if I hold down my right mouse button I can smell shine a light in this arena and as I move the mouse around I can see that the light is following the mouse cursor this is all done in the pixel game engine by the way with the left mouse button I can draw shapes so Iamp;#39;m going to draw a boundary here and you can see itamp;#39;s sort of a a tile map array and the nice thing is now when I hold down the right mouse button and turn the light on we can see that the boundaries cast shadows well the cache shadows but they also indicate the locations that canamp;#39;t be seen from where the mouse cursor is so this is also line-of-sight and it behaves quite nicely Iamp;#39;ll add in a few more features

How to Add Shadow to Button in CSS ? Add Shadow on button using box-shadow Property. Add Shadow to Button on Hover. Add Shadow to Button using filter Property with drop-shadow.
To create a CSS inner shadow, you must use the box-shadow property with the inset keyword. This is because if the inset keyword is not specified, by default, the shadow will appear as a drop shadow on the outside of the HTML element frame.
The code for the shadow is: box-shadow: rgb(204, 219, 232) 3px 3px 6px 0px inset, rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5) -3px -3px 6px 1px inset; The keyword inset is used to specify that we want to use the shadow inwards and not the default behaviour that is outwards .
To add a shadow to text, you can use the CSS text-shadow property. The text-shadow property takes three values: The first value is the horizontal offset of the shadow. A positive value will move the shadow to the right, while a negative value will move the shadow to the left.
The Inner Shadow layer style adds a drop shadow inside your selected layer, giving it a recessed or hollowed-out appearance.
In CSS, shadows on the boxes of elements are created using the box-shadow property (if you want to add a shadow to the text itself, you need text-shadow ). The box-shadow property takes a number of values: The offset on the x-axis. The offset on the y-axis.
Property Values ValueDescriptionDemo inset Optional. Changes the shadow from an outer shadow (outset) to an inner shadow Demo ❯ initial Sets this property to its default value. Read about initial inherit Inherits this property from its parent element. Read about inherit 6 more rows
Approach: To give the inset shadow to an element, we will use the box-shadow property. In the box-shadow property, we will define the h-offset value ( It is compulsory for the horizontal shadow effect ), then the v-offset value (It is compulsory for the vertical shadow effect ).
