hello in this video Iamp;#39;m going to be looking at quite a classic algorithm line-of-sight also known as shadow casting and as usual Iamp;#39;m going to start by showing you what it is that Iamp;#39;m talking about so here I have an arena where there is a boundary defined in blue and if I hold down my right mouse button I can smell shine a light in this arena and as I move the mouse around I can see that the light is following the mouse cursor this is all done in the pixel game engine by the way with the left mouse button I can draw shapes so Iamp;#39;m going to draw a boundary here and you can see itamp;#39;s sort of a a tile map array and the nice thing is now when I hold down the right mouse button and turn the light on we can see that the boundaries cast shadows well the cache shadows but they also indicate the locations that canamp;#39;t be seen from where the mouse cursor is so this is also line-of-sight and it behaves quite nicely Iamp;#39;ll add in a few more features
