Today weamp;#39;re going to discuss Background, Raster, Vector, and Art Media layers, and the differences between them. So in our last video we went over the basics of what layers are in relation to photo editing, where you can view, add, and locate them in PaintShop Pro, and how to create layers. Now, letamp;#39;s get into the various kinds of layers, and what theyamp;#39;re used for. First on the list we have the Background Layer. The Background Layer is a unique layer in the sense that you can really only have one. Just as painters can layer countless colors of paint in other media, they can do so using only one canvass at a time - so think of the background like your canvass. Answer: Create the watermark in your image editor software. In Crystal Reports, go to Insert Picture and select the watermark created in step 1. Insert the watermark in the Page Header. Go to Report Section Expert. Highlight Page Header in list of sections on the left and mark the Underlay Following Sections checkbox.
Use a custom watermark On the Design tab, select Watermark Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box. Click OK.
You can add a watermark to a Crystal Report page by following the below steps: Right-click the report and select Format Report. Select the Background tab. Check the Watermark checkbox. Select the picture or text you want to use for the watermark. Click the Alignment dropdown and select Center.
1 - Right click on the Section Name (e.g. Report Header) where you want the image to appear and choose Section Expert. 2 - Press the Insert button and then press the Up arrow to move the new section up one level. 3 - Select Underlay following sections for this new section. 4 - Insert your image into this new section.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list.
Answer: Open the report in the Crystal Reports application. Go to Insert Picture. Browse for the image file. Select the image file and click OK. Move the cursor to the desired section in the report for the image and left click once. Use the highlighted border to adjust the image size as needed.
