The @Inject annotation is a Java label that indicates that a class or field should be instantiated and initialized by the dependency injection framework. It is used with dependency injection frameworks like Spring, Google Guice, or CDI to specify the dependencies of classes.
Types of Dependency Injection Constructor injection. Constructor injection is the most widely used and recommended approach for DI. Setter Injection. Setter injection offers an alternative approach where dependencies are injected through setter methods within the client class. Method injection. Application servers have support for specifying @EJB bindings so that a deployer can choose the target EJB, but @Inject only allows the application developer to choose the target EJB (and it must exist in the application). If the target is not an EJB, then you must not use @EJB.
Types of dependency injection. There are three main ways in which a client can receive injected services: Constructor injection, where dependencies are provided through a clients class constructor. Setter injection, where the client exposes a setter method which accepts the dependency. Dependency injection - Wikipedia Wikipedia wiki Dependencyinjection Wikipedia wiki Dependencyinjection
To use it, annotate the constructor with the @Inject annotation. This constructor should accept class dependencies as parameters. Most constructors will then assign the parameters to final fields. If your class has no @Inject -annotated constructor, Guice will use a public, no-arguments constructor if it exists.

@Autowired is ideal for Spring-centric applications but ties you to the Spring ecosystem. Conversely, @Inject promotes portability across different Java EE-compatible containers, now under the Jakarta EE umbrella, fostering greater flexibility in choosing your runtime.
There are several main types of injections, including intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SC or SQ), intravenous (IV), and intradermal injections. Each type serves a specific purpose and involves different methods of administration.
