Add an image to a spreadsheet On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Click the cell where you want to add an image. Click Insert. Image. Select to place your image in the cell or over the the cells. Cells with an image cannot also have text. Choose an image or take a snapshot. Click Open or Select.
Select the range of cells where you want to apply the icons. Click Conditional Formatting Icon Sets More Rules. In the New Formatting Rule dialog box, select the desired icons. From the Type dropdown box, select Percentage, Number of Formula, and type the corresponding values in the Value boxes.
Go to Insert Symbol. Pick a symbol, or choose More Symbols. Scroll up or down to find the symbol you want to insert.

How to insert picture in Excel In your Excel spreadsheet, click where you want to put a picture. Switch to the Insert tab Illustrations group, and click Pictures. In the Insert Picture dialog that opens, browse to the picture of interest, select it, and click Insert.
Click inside the cell of the spreadsheet where you want to insert the object. On the Create New tab, select the type of object you want to insert from the list presented. If you want to insert an icon into the spreadsheet instead of the object itself, select the Display as icon check box. Click OK.
