hi welcome to visual studio tool box Iamp;#39;m your host Robert Greene and on todayamp;#39;s episode weamp;#39;re gonna talk about dependency injection and what better person to have on the show to do that then Miguel Castro then the guy that still talks about the penalty thatamp;#39;s right thatamp;#39;s right so weamp;#39;re gonna talk about what is dependency injection how do you do it but more importantly why should you do it oops now arenamp;#39;t am i doing it already and not knowing it if Iamp;#39;m not doing it why should I be doing it whatamp;#39;s what and what problem does it solve well it solves two primary problems okay it solves testability and dependency resolving and the two one can exist without the other but by implementing the fantasy injection in the right way youamp;#39;ve conquered two things youamp;#39;ve killed two birds with one stone and you can do one or the other and youamp;#39;re halfway there but youamp;#39;re still missing something

Constructor injection; the biggest constructor is chosen, then arguments are resolved with mocks declared in the test only. If the object is successfully created with the constructor, then Mockito wont try the other strategies. Mockito has decided to no corrupt an object if it has a parametered constructor.
How to use the @Inject attribute The first step is to add the dependency injection framework to our Java project. Once we have a DI framework, we can use the @Inject annotation to mark fields or constructors for dependency injection. Finally, we need to configure dependencies in the DI framework.
To use it, annotate the constructor with the @Inject annotation. This constructor should accept class dependencies as parameters. Most constructors will then assign the parameters to final fields. If your class has no @Inject -annotated constructor, Guice will use a public, no-arguments constructor if it exists.
The Spring team generally advocates constructor injection, as it lets you implement application components as immutable objects and ensures that required dependencies are not null . Furthermore, constructor-injected components are always returned to the client (calling) code in a fully initialized state.
@Autowired offers flexibility but may compromise code clarity and introduce runtime errors. Conversely, Constructor Injection, prioritizing simplicity and readability, is widely favored for clean coding practices, compile-time safety, and ease of testing.
It can be used during: Construction (via the constructor ) of a class being instantiated by the DI system, such as an @Injectable or @Component . In the initializer for fields of such classes. In the factory function specified for useFactory of a Provider or an @Injectable .
4.1. The @Inject annotation lets us define an injection point that is injected during bean instantiation. Injection can occur via three different mechanisms. Bean constructor parameter injection: public class Checkout { private final ShoppingCart cart; @Inject.
Injectable constructors are annotated with @Inject and accept zero or more dependencies as arguments. @Inject can apply to at most one constructor per class. @Inject is optional for public, no-argument constructors when no other constructors are present. This enables injectors to invoke default constructors.
