Complete the following steps to import an SSL certificate. Go to your consoles security menu. For more information, see Navigating to devices. From the Security menu, select SSL Certificates. Click Import SSL Certificate. Enter the SSL certificate details in the applicable fields and click Import.
There are two ways to add a self-signed certificate to a keystore in WebSphere. You can either use the WebSphere admin console to create and add the self-signed certificate to a keystore, or you can create the keystore using some other tool (such as the Java keytool command) and then import the keystore into WebSphere.
To get a certificate, you must create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) on your server. This process creates a private key and public key on your server. The CSR data file that you send to the SSL Certificate issuer (called a Certificate Authority or CA) contains the public key.
To obtain the SSL certificate, complete the steps: Set the OpenSSL configuration environment variable (optional). Generate a key file. Create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). Send the CSR to a certificate authority (CA) to obtain an SSL certificate. Use the key and certificate to configure Tableau Server to use SSL.
The domain definition process in ODM is formalized by specifying rules of inclusion and exclusion bounding what is in and out of the domain.
Procedure Click Security SSL certificate and key management Manage endpoint security configurations {Inbound | Outbound} sslconfiguration Key stores and certificates [keystore ]. From Additional Properties, click Personal certificates. Click Create a self-signed certificate. Type a certificate alias name.
Create a client certificate (CLI) Generate a key pair. openssl genrsa -out devicecertkeyfilename.key 2048. Create a CSR for the client certificate. openssl req -new \ -key devicecertkeyfilename.key \ -out devicecertcsrfilename.csr. Create a client certificate from the CSR.
