How to Import Code From a File. Code is generally stored within a source file. It is possible to pull the source code in LaTeX from a file using the command \lstinputlisting[language=LANGUAGENAME]{FILE NAME}. This command also lets you choose which language the code will be in.
Creating Source Code The command \usepackage{listings} informs LaTeX to include the source code in the document. The command \usepackage{hyperref} is needed for adding links in the text.
To include your Matlab file simply copy your Matlab file into your LATEX folder, then use the command in the appropriate places \lstinputlisting{yourfile. m}.
Use the command \appendix instead of \begin{appendix} \end{appendix} . Then follow the command with the text of your appendices. All following \section commands will be labeled with capital letters instead of numbers.
And then insert code directly in the document: \ lstset {language=Python} \ lstset {frame=lines} \ lstset {caption={Insert code directly in your document}} \ lstset {label={lst:codedirect}} \ lstset {basicstyle=\footnotesize} \ begin {lstlisting} from brg.datastructures import Mesh.
displaying Python code in your LaTeX document, just use the pyverbatim environment. \documentclass{scrartcl} \usepackage{pythontex} \begin{document} Here is some Python code: \begin{pyverbatim} print(Hello, World!) \end{pyverbatim} \end{document}
Referencing an appendix in LaTeX is as easy as any other chapter or object. You just have to put an anchor to it using \label{name} and then you can reference the appendix using \ref{name} .
How can I include source code in LaTeX documents? Include a line in your document preamble: \usepackage{lgrind} or, if you want the code to include function labels on the right hand side, \usepackage[procnames,noindent]{lgrind} Place the lines. \begin{lgrind} \input mycode.tex \end{lgrind} in your .
