Hide a custom field from the Table view Navigate to the folder, project, or space. Switch to Table view. Click the gear icon on the left side of the table. Uncheck the box next to the custom field you want to remove.
Select the ellipsis next to the field that you would like to delete and edit field settings. When you get the following screen you can delete the custom field and it will delete across the whole team and remove it from any projects that it is currently in.
Open a project file in Project desktop, right-click the field name, and choose Custom Fields. Select Task if you want the field to be available in task views, or select Resource if you want the field to be available in resource views. Select the type of field you are customizing from the Type list.
The only way to remove the field from the task pane would be by removing the field from the project. You can certainly hide the column for a specific custom field in List view.
To make a project private Click the + button at the top of the project. Select Make Private.
As it stands, its currently not possible to hide custom fields from the task pane. The only way to remove the field from the task pane would be by removing the field from the project.
Go to List view. Choose to hide columns/fields that you dont want to appear in your Board view. You can do this by right clicking on the column header, or going to customize toggle field from on to off.
