Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can set up a signature in Outlook on both the desktop and on the web, and before we jump into it, as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. Why donamp;#39;t we jump into it, that way you could start looking very professional with nice signatures in your emails. Letamp;#39;s jump into it. All right, well here I am on my desktop and what weamp;#39;re going to do first is I want to show you how to do it using Outlook desktop. I have Outlook here on my taskbar. Iamp;#39;m going to go ahead and click on this. This is the latest version of Outlook, itamp;#39;s part of Office 365. Itamp;#39;ll probably work if you have an older version of Outlook as well, but I canamp;#39;t promise anything, but signatures havenamp;#39;t changed that much. Itamp;#39;s been a feature in Outlook for a very long time, so if you follow along, it should work for you regardless of what version

Change an email signature Select File Options Mail Signatures. Select the signature you want to edit, and then make your changes in the Edit signature box. When youre done, select Save OK.
Some versions of Gmail dont support formatting options, like bold or italics. Formatted text in these Gmail versions can result in extra characters in your signature. To remove the extra characters, remove the formatting from your signature: Open Gmail.
To reduce the amount of characters, turn on short links in Profile Settings. If your signature has a long legal disclaimer, use the Read More link and link to an online version of your legal disclaimer to save on characters.
Gmail has a character limit of 10,000 characters, which is a lot of characters, but if you have a really long signature, it may just be too long. Try shortening the signature and paste it in again or use our free extension that allows you to have an email signature with unlimited characters.
Click on SETTINGS. Scroll down the page (youll be on the General tab) to the Signature section. CHECK THE BOX that says Insert this signature before quoted text in replies and remove the line that precedes it. Scroll down a little further and click Save Changes.
Signature not displaying correctly: Check if any formatting or HTML code in your signature is causing the issue. Simplify the formatting or remove any problematic code. Try using a different web browser or clearing your browser cache.
In the Gmail app, start by selecting settings and then see all settings. Scroll to signature where you can add or customize the format. Insert your image by choosing the image icon in the toolbar. After youve uploaded the photo, resize it by selecting small, medium, or large.
You can change an existing signature and initials from your Account at any time. From your account, select your account icon and select Manage Profile. Select Signatures and choose: Confirm that your full name and initials are correct, and select a style, draw, or upload your signature.
