Zooming enables you to adjust the size of text and images. You might want to zoom in or out of your ebook to improve readability on a section of text or to make an image clearer. You can easily do so on ePUB and PDF-format ebooks in the reader app, using the zoom functionality.
The ePub Reader provides seven levels of font size for use, namely XX-Small, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large. The actual size associated with each font size level can be set through the Font Sizes Settings. The default font size is Medium.
How do I zoom in or change the font size in an eText? In an EPUB eText: Click the. icon, then click. to increase text size or. to decrease text size. In a PDF eText: Click the. icon, then click to zoom in or to zoom out.
To launch the Settings view, select the Settings ePub Reader option. The settings are partitioned into 4 sections, with the most common settings grouped in the Display tab. Most of the settings in this tab are covered in more detail in separate document pages for each individual setting.
Many Ebooks are read on portable devices with an 8 screen or smaller, so a higher res image will do nothing for them but take up more space in the ebook. So try to keep the image file at 300dpi or around there, and under 1mb.
