okay letamp;#39;s talk about something just a little bit different psychology and specifically psychology of faces and names and I guess here I actually wanted to start with a famous quote by George Orwell at 50 everyone has the face he deserves and though it might sound kind of poetic turns out he was actually right like physically right because in the study weamp;#39;re discussing today the researchers actually discovered that for some reason we as humans can generally actually guess someoneamp;#39;s name by just looking at their face relatively accurately which is a result of an unusual social expectation that seems to influence how we tend to internalize our faces throughout our lifetimes and so hello person this is Anton today letamp;#39;s discuss can names shape facial appearance a kind of a follow-up study to several different experiments from approximately 7 years ago that basically have the same answer the answer being yes it looks like names can actually change our faces

In order to use evidence effectively, you need to integrate it smoothly into your essay by following this pattern: State your claim. Give your evidence, remembering to relate it to the claim. Comment on the evidence to show how it supports the claim.
Choose evidence that relates directly (is relevant) to what you need to show (prove). For example, if you are explaining how you were abused, information about your injuries will be more important than how many years of school you completed. You can use more than one piece of evidence to prove the same point.
Use an argument and introduce your evidence by mentioning the name of the writer and the respective work of his. Citing evidence should never begin with a quote. Instead, be sure to use words or phrases such as ing to, as cited by, as [authors name] says in his book, and so on.
After you introduce evidence into your writing, you must say why and how this evidence supports your argument. In other words, you have to explain the significance of the evidence and its function in your paper.
Thus, a good evidentiary statements should (a) set the context, (b) provide evidence related to the context and topic, and (c) take a stance that clearly links the statement to the Criterion and appropriate Core Components.
Sentence starters to help you cite your evidence! The author stated ing to text The text says Based on what I read In paragraph , it states For instance, ing to the passage In the text For example, The author wrote Based on the passage
You can cite evidence by: Using an in-text citation with parentheses at the end of a sentence. Using a footnote or end note. Stating the name of the author, speaker, or organization in your sentence and including another citation method or a works cited page.
You could use these phrases: This shows It is evident that It is therefore possible to conclude that The argument strongly suggests that This is supported by This demonstrates
Evidence can be divided into two general types: Testimonial evidence is a statement made under oath. An example would be a witness pointing to someone in the courtroom and saying, Thats the guy I saw robbing the grocery store. This is also called direct evidence or prima facie evidence.
The best way to support your point is through the use of supporting evidence. This enables you to show your best attributes rather than tell (i.e. brag). Supporting evidence can include personal narratives (i.e. stories), examples, and anecdotes.
