so I just finished a tutorial where I showed how to insert images into a website and we ran into the issue of hovering actually creating this flickering effect on top of images when you try to swap out the background image and I thought why not make a separate video on this since this is something that people run into so Inside by example here you can see that I have a basic div inside my website and I have a class attached to it which is called image and inside my CSS file I have a width a height a background image and just a little bit of CSS to make sure that it looks right inside the div box and the issue is that whenever you create a hover effect on your images it creates this little flicker inside your browser so if we were to go back inside my browser here you can actually see when I refresh it the first time you put your mouse quiz on top of it itamp;#39;s going to create this little weird flicker where itamp;#39;s like itamp;#39;s like itamp;#39;s swapping the images out b

Heres how to create this effect: In your HTML, create a div with the class fade-in-text. Place your text inside this div. In your CSS, give the fade-in-text class the declaration animation: fadeIn 5s. Use the @keyframes rule paired with fadeIn. Add vendor prefixes for cross-browser compatibility.
How to fix the overflowing element add overflow: auto; to ul li {} style rules. You may not see any changes. It is because you added justify-content: space-between . Change it to justify-content: flex-start . Hurray! Now you can see a horizontal scrollbar and the overflowing problem is gone!
It seems when you use inspect in the any browser, the HTML elements that are partially displayed because of Inspect console being displayed over them are marked as overflow on that node. Since you have maximized Inspect console, it is covering all the elements of the web page hence they are probably marked as overflow.
You can constrain the size of these boxes by assigning values of width and height (or inline-size and block-size ). Overflow happens when there is too much content to fit in a box.
Approach: Select the element to check for overflow. Check its style. overflow property, if it is visible then the element is hidden. Also, check if its clientWidth is less than scrollWidth or clientHeight is less than scrollHeight then the element is overflowed.
One way to accomplish this is by setting the overflow property of the to hidden . This will hide any content that exceeds the dimensions of the , preventing it from being displayed outside. Make sure to replace div with the actual class or ID of your element.
Make sure that the file type is supported by the browser (e.g. supported types include PNG, JPEG, and GIF). Additionally, check if the filename is spelled correctly and its case-sensitivity is correct. Finally, try adding a / at the beginning of the src path.
