hey welcome back in this video Im just going over an actual worked example on the same frame that I used to introduce the concept of frames and machines but this time Ive applied some actual numbers to these forces that are acting on it and what we want to do is we basically just want to find out what the reactions are at Point a and F so this is basically a two-step process the first step is we draw a free body diagram of the whole structure and then well solve for as many reaction forces as we can but I can see here therell be those theres actually going to be four unknowns and we only have three equations of equilibrium so we wont be able to solve for all of them and then after that well take what we can get and then well draw an exploded diagram of the whole structure basically giving us individual Freebody diagrams of each member and then well go one force one unknown force at a time solving for as much as we can and then eventually well use those two to solve for what o
