well hello Internet today Iamp;#39;m going to talk about the difference between an XHTML versus traditional HTML the reason Iamp;#39;m doing that is because somebody that viewed my HTML tutorial sent me a comment asking me that question so Iamp;#39;m gonna cover today if you didnamp;#39;t see that HTML tutorial you should click right here and watch it otherwise a lot of this is not going to make any sense but this video is going to be a little bit more technical and normal but Iamp;#39;ll try to keep it light on the jargon just know that by the end of this article youamp;#39;ll be able to tell people you know how to write extensible hypertext markup language version 1 straight that is w3c compliant first up the w3c stands for the World Wide Web Consortium and this is the group that basically defines what hTML is what cascading style sheets are and how they should be used to say the least the most current version of HTML is referred to as XHTML version 1 straight XHTML is now know

Heres how to do it: Click on a button in your form that creates a new record to get into its settings. On the right side panel, click on the action that it does. On the right side panel now, switch over to the Actions tab. Create a Success action that would use a Component action.
In your components TypeScript file, create a method called onReset() that will be triggered when the form reset action is performed. Inside this method, you can use the reset() method of the form to reset all form controls to their initial values.
The HTMLFormElement. reset() method restores a form elements default values. This method does the same thing as clicking the forms control.
In JavaScript, the reset() method does the same thing as the HTML reset button. It is used to clear all the values of the form elements. It can be used to set the values to default. It does not require any parameter values and also does not return any value.
To preserve all the characters for some elements, use the xml:space attribute or the PRE element (only valid for XHTML documents). The possible values for the xml:space attribute are default and preserve . The value default means that an applications default white-space treatment is acceptable for these elements.
With JSF 2.2 this can be done with the new attribute resetValues on f:ajax . If resetValues is set to true , JSF resets all input components specified in the render attribute. The reset is done before the partial response is rendered. Internally, JSF calls the new method UIViewRoot.
