Text boxes in Microsoft Word are great for highlighting and organizing text. They provide a clear boundary, making the content stand out and easier to read. But, you may want to remove the text box outline for a more minimalistic look.
On the Drawing Tools tab, in the Insert Shapes group, click Edit Text. Type the text that you want. To change the text formatting, select the text, click the Home tab, and then change the font, size, color, or any other attribute that you want to change.
Select the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press Delete. Note: Make sure the pointer is on the border of the text box and not inside it. If the pointer is inside the box, pressing Delete will delete the text inside the text box, not the box.
