How to save text or an image in Quick Parts Select the piece of text or image that you would like to save to Quick Parts. Find Quick Parts on the Insert tab and click on it. Click on the Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery Name the piece of text or image you want to save so you can easily recall it.
If you do not have an existing InDesign document to work from, create a new document by selecting FileNewDocument and specifying the settings for your new document. Click FilePlace in InDesigns Control panel. Navigate to the picture file you would like to import and double click the file name.
