if youamp;#39;re presenting your work on someone elseamp;#39;s computer and they donamp;#39;t have every font in your presentation your slides may look wrong one font Iamp;#39;m using is called Barlow condensed which is not installed on most computers by default to prevent issues I can embed fonts within a PowerPoint file to ensure it looks right regardless of where I present it to embed fonts click the file tab then select options click Save and then check the box for embed fonts in the file you can then choose to embed only the specific characters youamp;#39;ve used or all the characters of every font in your presentation consider the first option if you only need to present on someone elseamp;#39;s computer while the second option is best if youamp;#39;re sharing the file and expect others to edit the text once youamp;#39;ve made your choice click OK keep in mind there are limitations to embedding fonts for instance this feature is only available in Windows also some fonts c

Add a font Download the font files. If the font files are zipped, unzip them by right-clicking the .zip folder and then clicking Extract. Right-click the fonts you want, and click . Microsoft Word allows you to embed a TrueType font in a Word document so that you can view and edit the font, if licensing rights allow. You can do this even if you open the document on a computer on which the font is not installed.
Unzip the fonts first. Right click the font file and select . Unzip the fonts first. From the Start menu select Control Panel. Then select Appearance and Personalization. Then click on Fonts. Click File, and then click New Font. If you dont see the File menu, press ALT.
Word can only embed fonts on your system that have been installed in the TTF format. If your font files are in the OTF format, you cant embed them in Word documents.
Do any of the following: In the Font Book app , choose File Add Fonts to Current User. In the window that appears, double-click the font file. Drag the font file to the Font Book app icon in the Dock, then click in the dialog that appears.
Font Embedding feature is available in Word for Mac, but this feature is only available to Office 365 Subscribers and Office 2019 for Mac, where the version should be greater than 16.17. To check it: Open the Word application Click on the Word in Menu bar Preferences Save.
Go to Format Font Font. + D to open the Font dialog box. Select the font and size you want to use.
