um okay guys uh so um keep yourself muted and if you have any questions just uh rise your hand um and uh we will just get started so we dont so we dont lose any time if you want to do a quick introduction you can just type it in the chat and everybody else can can see that as well okay so todays lecture is going to be about tracing and as i uh mentioned previously uh tracing is useful when you want to debug things that happen in order and we can get a long way using traditional debugging by stepping the application but traditional debugging is limiting in the sense that you cant always get an overview of the order of things uh the order in which things happen and an example of this is for example uh when we have thread threads switching between uh one thread to another uh we cant easily see that in a traditional debugger but with tracing we can trace the changes in uh the changes the switches between threads and we can also trace uh things like mutex locks and we can see when a mu
