In this video, Well look at how to create standalone Field Header Areas for a PivotGridControl. Well get field headers detached from the pivot grid and integrate them into a custom layout created with our DXLayoutControl. So lets get stared. Well start with a form that already has a pivot grid bound to data with its field header areas hidden. First, lets put the pivot grid into a LayoutControl. To do that, well move our pivot grid to the side for a while, and drag a layout control from the toolbox. Lets have it fill the entire area, then we can take our pivot grid and put it back on the form. Now lets create standalone Column, Row and Data Header Areas above the pivot grid.
