How do you edit signature in report with DocHub?

  1. First, upload your report to DocHub.

Hey everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create an electronic signature directly within Microsoft Word. Ill show you a few different techniques for creating your signature. They have different quality levels, and you could decide which one you think looks the best. Once we create our signature, Ill also show you a few ways that you can very quickly and easily then reuse your signature. One of them is by saving it as a transparent PNG, and then Ill also show you how we could use something called quick parts within Microsoft Word. One thing to call out before we jump into this, today were creating an electronic signature. Thats basically an image of your handwritten signature, and that differs from a digital signature, which is a certificate that validates your identity. Thats out of the scope today. Based on the regulations in article 1875 of the Civil Code, it is permissible to change the signature as long as the person who made it acknowledges the truth. Even if the signature has been changed, all previous documents using the old signature are still considered valid.
Under General, scroll to Signature and click the signature that you want to edit. Use the text box to make your changes. At the bottom, click Save changes.
In some cases, if you submit incorrect information, such as the wrong name on a legal document, it can render the entire contract or liability waiver unenforceable. For example, if you sign a contract with someone elses name or use an invalid online signature, the document could be considered invalid.
The short answer is yes, you can change your signature. Theres nothing legally binding you to use the same signature throughout your life.
The most sensible move would be to immediately make an affidavit and docHub it. The affidavit should contain an attachment that provides a specimen of the old and new signature. That is it! You dont have to really do anything further like publishing this in the newspapers.
Signature acts as a check on the reliability of the findings in the report. The person who signs the report becomes responsible for any information included in the report. Hence reports are not accepted without signature of the presenter.
A signature can be rendered invalid if it is not consistent throughout the document. This includes instances where different pens are used for signing and witnessing a legal document. Even if all other aspects are flawless, the use of different pen colours or types would render the document invalid.
