Hello everybody welcome back to the channel today I wanted to make a video All About narrow band Imaging and my narrow band Imaging editing workflow so for those who don't know or for those who haven't tried it before narrowband Imaging is simply when you take pictures through narrowband filters and what narrowband filters are are filters that reject a majority of the spectrum of light and only allow in a narrow wavelength of light and that's why they're called narrow band now the counterpart to this of course is broadband filters which is probably what you're more used to something like luminance red green or blue these filters have a broad wavelength range from you know a couple hundred nanometers in wavelength but these narrow filters only allow in 3 to 12 nanometers of light at a time and it's letting in light only in the wavelengths of Interest which for most astrophotographers will be sulfur 2 hydrogen Alpha and oxygen three so these are what those filters actually look like her...
