hello my name is Ron Shaw and Im going to show you how to use or edit ACLs using sequence numbers now every network administrator knows that its a very difficult task managing your ACL and we want to make sure we put them in the proper order now if weve already have an existing ACL such as a number well in order to modify it wed have to remove all statements and then we put them back in in the order we wish well I can set there and actually modify an existing numbered ACL by using a standard named ACL instead of giving it a name well just give it a number now lets go to our router and look at how we edit ACLs using sequence numbers first thing Im going to do is were going to issue the show run and see exactly what ACL is we have configured now as we can go down here we can see we have access list 1 which has a permit and a deny inning and then we have access list 101 now what Id like to do is were going to set there and were going to take access list 1 and were going to ins
