hey everyone welcome to being classy my name is jessica and in this video i want to show you how to insert or add text in a header in google docs all right so in google docs there are two ways that you can easily do this the first way would be to navigate to your toolbar on the left hand side of your google docs and click on insert and then scroll down to where you find headers and footers and then insert header you can then insert your header all right and then lets say you want your header on your first page to be different than the subsequent pages you can click on this box or lets say you need to format your heading you can go ahead and click on options on the right hand corner of your header and then you can header format you could add page numbers or remove the header alright so i have my header here the other way that you can insert a header is go ahead and just double click on the very top of your google doc so youll notice my cursor is down here if i double click above my
