Using Finder There are two easy ways to see the photo metadata inside Finder on Mac running macOS Mojave or later. First, select the image file in Finder and press Command + Shift + P. Doing so will show the image information on the right side.
To Edit Attribute Data Click Drafting tab > Block panel > Attribute, Single. Select the block to edit. In the Enhanced Attribute Editor dialog box, retype the attribute information as necessary. Note: You cannot edit attribute values on locked layers.
Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, you'll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
One simple way to edit the metadata tag on Mac is: Open the 'Photos' app on your iPhone. Locate and right-click the image file you want to edit. From the popup window, choose the 'Get info' option. Locate and change the details you want to change in the new window.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Users & Groups in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Turn on your Mac and continue to press and hold the power button as your Mac starts up. Release the power button when you see the startup options screen, which shows your startup disks and a gear icon labeled Options.
