Lising below the steps to delete the unmarked redactions: Open the file. Open the Comment App (from Right Hand Pane) In Right Hand Pane of comment app, you will see list of annots. You need to delete ones listed as Redact.
Drag your cursor over the text you want to redact, and youll see that it becomes black with hash marks. You can change the redaction as you edit; drag your cursor over text to add the black redaction, drag again to remove it. If you hover your cursor over redacted text, you can see what the text is.
Click the drop-down menu next to the Redact Text Images box, and select Redaction Tool Properties. Pick outline and fill colors for the redacted area, or click Use Overlay Text. Add custom text in the field, choose from US Privacy Act and FOIA codes, or import new codes. Click OK when you have your selections.
How To Black Out Text in PDF Files Open our online PDF editor. Click and drag a PDF into the toolbox. Click on the square symbol and select Rectangle. Ensure the color is set to black, and resize it to cover text. Hit Finish and save the document.

Click the Tools tab and then click the Redact icon below the Protect Standardize section. Click Mark for Redaction and select Text Images. Select the text or image you want to white out. Now click Properties, select the white color from Redacted Area Fill Color, and finally select OK.
