Once a Contract has been activated, Account Name And Contract Currency fields would be not editable. In order to change the Account on which the Contract resides, delete the Contract and create a new one.
Delete a contract type: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Contract Type. Click Contract Type. Click the down arrow next to the contract type that you want to delete and then click Delete.
Set Field Permissions on Orders and Contracts From Setup, go to Object Manager. Click the Order object. Select Fields and Relationships. Click Sales Agreement, and then click Set Field-Level Security. For the user profiles that you want to grant edit permission, select Visible. For view-only access, select Read-Only.
Follow the steps below. Go to Settings -- Customizations. Click Customize the System. Under Components, expand Entities, and then expand the entity you want. Click Fields. Select the field you want to remove from the form (which is Business Required) Change the Field Requirement from Business Required to Optional.
Delete a Sales Agreement In a sales agreements record, select Delete on the header. Click Delete to confirm your action. You can only delete a sales agreement that doesnt have any active orders associated with it. Note All account product forecast records linked to a deleted sales agreement are also deleted.
When youre creating a contract, fill in the information per the usual flow. Click on Review and Sign and then Edit template on the top right to access the editing screen.
Open the contract workspace and navigate to the Documents. Click the name of the contract terms link and choose Delete.
