The Color Burn mode divides the inverted bottom layer by the top layer, and then inverts the result. This darkens the top layer increasing the contrast to reflect the color of the bottom layer. The darker the bottom layer, the more its color is used.
Exclusion is similar to the difference blending mode but lowers contrast. If you blend with white, the base layer becomes inverted. However, black colors do not change. This mode will look at all color channels, then remove the blend layers colors from the base layer.

The Darken mode compares the colors of the blending layer and the base layers, and keeps the darker colors. The Multiply mode multiplies the colors of the blending layer and the base layers, resulting in a darker color. This mode is useful for coloring shadows.
Color burn This blending mode darkens the colors and increases the contrast of the base colors, then blends the colors of the blending layer.
Max (Lighten) (Advanced) Does the opposite of the Min (Darken) mode. It takes two images and combines them by choosing the brightest pixel from each pair of corresponding pixels in the two images. For each spot in the combined image, it looks at the same spot in both original images and picks the brighter color.
COLOR BURN CLASSIC COLOR BURN This increases the contrast of the underlying layer via the color information of the source layer. If the top layer (source layer) is white then it will not change anything. They say this will give you a result that is in between Multiply and Linear Burn.
The Subtract mode subtracts the color of the blending layer from the base colors, resulting in a darker color. The Lighten mode compares the base colors and the colors of the blending layer, and keeps the lighter color.
