right here so I embarked on restoring a 1920s oak table with is just absolutely beautiful quarter sawn oak top now I was looking to actually stay and match this top in order to match it to some chairs that I had that have the same cloth edith as this table so i spent some time working on the actual stain that i was going to use and ran into some problems so i was able to tune it to one of the leafs but when I actually went to put it on the tabletop it kind of got away from me and ended up and off the line so well I guess I wouldnt say a lot but just too much to notice so I was hoping to find a way that I could kind of tune this back and bring a little more yellow into it to match the yellow thats present in the chairs so first I thought Id give it a try with mineral spirits and a couple other solvents but you know wiping away on it youre really not able to pull up much of this dried stain but I came across kind of a cool little trick I dont know if anybody else has ran across thi
