[Music] hi guys welcome back im going to show you how to create a slicing text effect we are going to pick our lasso tool and were going to make a diagonal like this and im going to cut the top piece like that and then im going to make sure im on my text layer im going to add a layer max and it will basically hide the lower portion so im going to go ahead and make a copy of my text command j make a copy and then im going to click on my top image command i to inverse it if i move it down and i shift it you see that i have a slicing text effect im going to add a new layer now we want to pick our brush and we want to brush below um the top text but what i want to do is first i want to take my flow down a little now im going to go ahead and do something like this all around and even extend it a little and extend it here too now im gonna press command d to deselect so you want to take your opacity down like so so you have this cool effect and you can even go ahead with your move
