hey guys Matt from outbound lighting here today with the road Edition wanting to talk to you about what a cut-off line is there the cutoff line is a unique feature in the outbound lighting design where we are able to design a reflector that actually does not put light above a certain line so what does this mean this means that youre able to actually aim your light on your bike and actually aim it upwards so you can actually see where you want to go without blinding oncoming pedestrians or the bikers drivers and badly drawn cars versus a traditional bike light which is just sort of a circular spot beam pattern like this where in order to not blind other people you have to aim your light way down so youre lighting up everything right here but youre not actually seeing where you want to go out here so kind of another quick little demonstration of the difference of what a cut-off line is here is the line le and here is what a typical bike light is so you can see in order to not have li
