LaTeX does have built-in commands for changing the typeset alignment of text: ragged-right ( \raggedright ) ragged-left ( \raggedleft )...together with corresponding environments: ragged-right ( flushleft environment) ragged-left ( flushright environment) centred ( centering environment)
One of the simplest and most commonly used commands in TikZ is the \draw command. To draw a straight line we use this command, then we enter a starting co-ordinate, followed by two dashes before the ending co-ordinate. We then finish the statement by closing it with a semicolon.
Right. The environment \begin{flushright}... \end{flushright} does the opposite of flushleft , and the text will be aligned with the right-hand margin, and have a ragged left-hand edge. If you are already in an environment you can switch this style of alignment on in a different way using \raggedleft .
Click to the left of the text you want to right align. For this example, click to the left of “right-aligned,” and press Tab. Figure D shows the results of using the right-aligned tab to push part of the text to the right margin. It doesn't matter how much text you push to the right, the tab will align it perfectly.
Place the insertion point anywhere in the paragraph, document, or table that you want to align. Press Ctrl+J.
Insert a double backslash to set a point for the equation to be broken. The first part will be aligned to the left and the second part will be displayed in the next line and aligned to the right.
For a short line (With lenght less than \linewidth ) you can use \rightline{word or phrase} . If you want to align a paragraph at right put it in a flushright environment. This way allows line breaks with \\ . Save this answer.

The fastest way to add a horizontal line or rule is to use the AutoFormat feature. When you type certain characters three times in their own paragraph and then press Enter, those characters instantly become a full-width horizontal line. Place the cursor where you want to insert the horizontal line.
By default, LaTeX fully justifies text in LaTeX documents. However, you can explicitly specify this if you are using a different alignment method. To do this, use the \justify command.
