Share an AMI (console) In the navigation pane, choose AMIs. Select your AMI in the list, and then choose Actions, Edit AMI permissions. Choose Private. Under Shared accounts, choose Add account ID. For AWS account ID, enter the AWS account ID with which you want to share the AMI, and then choose Share AMI.
Open the Amazon EC2 console at . From the console navigation bar, select the Region that contains the AMI. In the navigation pane, choose Images, AMIs to display the list of AMIs available to you in the Region. Select the AMI to copy and choose Actions, Copy AMI.
Its not possible to transfer existing instances or AMIs between AWS accounts. Instead, you can manually migrate an EC2 image from one AWS account to another.
If you are having trouble copying and pasting, confirm the following to help solve your issue: Your administrator has enabled clipboard redirection for your WorkSpace. The uncompressed object size is under the maximum of 20 MB. The data type that you copied is supported for clipboard redirection.
Downloading files Use the credentials provided by your administrator to log in to Amazon WorkDocs. Select the check boxes next to the files that you want to download. Just select the check box or boxes. Open the Actions menu and choose Download.
Log in to the AWS Management Console. If required, use the region selector in the top right corner to switch to the region where your instance was launched. Select your instance and then select the Create Image option in the Actions menu.
In the web browser client, highlight the text to copy and choose Clipboard, Copy to Local Device. The text is now placed in your computers clipboard. Paste the text using the paste keyboard shortcut or context menu shortcut.
You can use the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) to start an image export task using VM Import/Export. Then, a copy of your Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is exported as a VM file and written to an Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket.
