[Music] hello this is greg from sharepointmaven and in this short video i would like to show you how you can export your plan from planner to excel now a planner obviously is this board style task management tool and sometimes you just want to you know see the tasks uh in excel style format right rows and columns instead of this board style format so here we go i have this uh plan uh under my hr team site a few tasks obviously your plan will probably have many more tasks than mine uh some of them completed some of them are not uh so what i would like to do is export this plan to excel so maybe i can format it further uh and uh you know manage the tasks and do reports in excel etc so what you need to do is click the three dots on the plan and just say export plan to excel and thats pretty much it uh it exports the tasks to excel right here and lets see what it actually does so it actually exports pretty much all the parameters you see all the different properties of all the tasks you
