Enable Design Ideas on Windows After opening PowerPoint, go to the File menu and select Options. Switch to the General tab, where you can see a section dedicated to PowerPoint Designer. Make sure you have both of these options turned on: Automatically show me design ideas.
Open the Google Slides presentation in a web browser. From the top menu, select File Download. Select the Microsoft PowerPoint option from the list of file types.
An administrator may have turned off Designer Designer is a feature for Microsoft 365 subscribers, but some organizations turn off the feature. If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription but dont see the Design Ideas button, ask your IT department.
Converting Google Slides to PowerPoint Manually Open your Web Browser and log in your Google Drive. Search for the file you want to convert and open it. You can utilize the Search function of Google Drive for this. Once you have your Google Slide open, click on File Download As Microsoft PowerPoint (. pptx)
If you cant find or select the PowerPoint designer, you will need to turn the design ideas button on. To do this you will need to select File Options, and in General, select Automatically show me design ideas in the PowerPoint designer section and check the box.
Ask for design ideas any time by choosing Design Designer on the ribbon. PowerPoint shows design ideas for your slide. Scroll through the suggestions in the Designer pane on the right side of the window. Click to select the design you want, or else close the window.
Find the form or quiz you want to insert into your slide under My forms in the panel. Hover over the title of the form or quiz and click Insert. You can also select Edit if you have more changes to make or want to review results of the form or quiz. Your form or quiz is now embedded in your PowerPoint slide.
The first time you use PowerPoint Designer, a message appears asking your permission to get design ideas for you. Select Turn on to use. Note: To learn more, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Select File Options, and in General, uncheck Automatically show me design ideas in the PowerPoint Designer section.
