use the menu on the right hand side to help navigate around this video at any time hit the home button to get back to the start so you can get back to the menu again creating a new document is a very easy thing to do in google docs all you have to do is first you need to be signed into one of your accounts and so here iamp;#39;m just going to show an example logging to one of my education accounts so at this point it looks like the google screen but if iamp;#39;m logged into my google apps account if i go up to the top you can see thereamp;#39;s nine little squares there if i click on them this shows me all the google apps i have available to me and you can see docs is right there so iamp;#39;m going to click on my google docs at this point you can see i have four examples of google docs these are the google docs that are in my storage of the documents but to create a new one all i have to do is at the bottom right hand corner click on the red plus docHub you can see it says cre

Click File Options Display, and then under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the Hidden text check box.
To see the hidden characters in a Google Docs, Click somewhere in the Doc. Click View. Click Show non-printing characters. Click to Scroll down your Doc to see all of your hidden formatting symbols.
On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. To open or close the comments panel, at the top right, click Show all comments . To hide, minimize, or expand comments next to your document, click View. Comments. Hide comments: Hides all comments and closes any open comments panel.
Use collapsible headings in your Google Doc If your document is in pageless mode, you can expand and collapse your titles and headings to organize your content or hide certain sections. Tip: Anyone that has edit, comment, or view access to a Google Doc can expand and collapse headings.
You can structure your Google Doc with the document outline feature. The outline detects and lists headings from your text to help organize your document. In the outline, you can also add a summary for your document. You can also show or hide rulers and non-printing characters to help format your document.
So, the current understanding is that Google will not treat content that is concealed behind tabs, ions, or any other element where JavaScript is used to reveal content, in the same way as content that is visible as standard.
In your document, Go to the View tab. A drop-down menu will appear, Go to Show non-printing characters and click on it.
Select the text you want to redact and click the Insert menu. Then, click Comment. A comment box will appear, and you can enter your redacted text. The text will be hidden, but anyone can view the comment by clicking on the Insert menu.
