yo Iamp;#39;ve been using the new 14in M3 Pro MacBook the past few weeks and these are the best settings and apps Iamp;#39;ve found to use it most productively first things first is to mention all the essential settings that need to be enabled to keep the Mac as minimal as possible starting in appearance I prefer dark mode always so do take that on and go with the graphite accent to keep things clean the Mac wallpapers this year arenamp;#39;t bad but Iamp;#39;ve been using all your space collection recently now going into the accessibility settings and then pointer control I always enable three-finger drag within the track P options this makes dragging Windows around much easier as you donamp;#39;t need to press down the trackpad first I also enable tap to click within the settings as it just makes clicking simpler when it comes to the dock Iamp;#39;m really bad at keeping it organized but with this new laptop any app that Iamp;#39;m not using daily stays within the Launchpad in

To use alt codes on Mac computers, use the Option key instead of the Alt key. Option codes for accented letters, symbols, and special characters work differently on Mac computers, as you press Option, the accent, then the letter. For example, to create an n with a tilde, the alt code is Option+n.
The Option Key Accent Method on Mac Option + ` + letter = grave accent , , , , or (like this: Voil) Option + i + letter = circumflex accent , , , , or (like this: Crpe) Option + n + letter = ee character , , or (like this: El Nio) Option + u + letter = umlaut accent , , , , or (like this: ber)
Look for the key marked with Option and an Alt label on the lower row, flanking the space bar. This placement is consistent across MacBook models and Apple keyboards, ensuring easy access.
To use an Alt code, press and hold down the Alt key and type the code using the numeric key pad on the right side of your keyboard. If you do not have a numeric keypad, copy and paste the symbols from this page, or go back try another typing method. Note: The same content is also available as a PDF.
To insert the Section symbol on a Mac keyboard, the faster way is to just press the Option+6 buttons.
Youve probably noticed that the number keys at the top of your Macs keyboard have extra symbols on them, including !, @, #, $, and %. To type any of those symbols, hold down Shift while pressing the number key with the symbol you want on it. For example, the combination ⇧ Shift + 2 will give you the @ symbol.
In Excel 365 for Mac, you can also use Option + Return. Option is the equivalent of the Alt key on Windows, so it seems the original Windows shortcut (Alt + Enter) now works for Mac too.
