In photography, clipping refers to the loss of detail in an images overexposed or underexposed areas. This occurs when the highlights (bright areas) or shadows (dark areas) are pushed beyond the limits of what your cameras sensor can capture.
Just drag the Highlights slider to the left until the highlight clipping warning goes away (the red warning areas disappear or the triangle turns black).
You may already be familiar with highlight and shadow clipping warnings, which are standard features in software like Lightroom and docHub Camera Raw. These warnings alert you when a portion of your image becomes pure black or white. While this information is valuable, it can also lead to misconceptions.
Click Shadows/Highlight on the pop out menu. The Shadow/Highlights control panel will be displayed. NOTE: Check the Show More Options check box if you do not have the full size control panel illustrated on the right. Adjust the sliders for Shadows and Highlights that are shown in the illustration on the right.
To fix this, you would lower the exposure, highlights or whites sliders. Doing this will lower the brightness of the highlight areas of the image causing the luminance mountain to shift to the left.
