Now, with Crystal Reports open and in focus use Alt + Space, then M, then Arrow key, and then move your mouse around. The Formula Editor window which was earlier off-screen would appear from one of the sides of the screen. Re-open the report and the Formula Editor should up on the Primary Display.
Remove and replace part of a formula Select cells. Select any of the cells where you want to remove part of the formula. Select the portion of the formula to remove. Change selected part of formula to a value.
You can right click the field object either in the Field Explorer or on the report canvas and select Find in Formulas. The other way to access the formula search is to click on the binoculars or press Control-F while you are in the Formula Editor.

Drag the bottom of the section up or right-click on the section and select Fit to Section. If there are no fields in the section, right-click and select Suppress (No Drill-Down) Right-click on the section and select Section Expert. Mark the Suppress Blank Section checkbox.
To delete a formula field, go to the Field Explorer panel. Select the formula field, right click, then select Delete. You will then see a message that lets you know that if you delete the field, it will also be removed from your report. If you still want to delete the formula field, click Yes.
